History
Servicemind A/S was founded in Aarhus in 1997 by two young entrepreneurs with a desire to focus on service levels, especially in retail. It was called IQS (International Quality Service).
As pioneers of mystery shopping, the two entrepreneurs quickly found success and had a large number of Danish and international retail chains as customers. After a short time, IQS became one of the largest providers of mystery shopping, mystery calling and mystery dining.
In 2000, one of Europe’s largest consulting firms, Valtech, saw IQS’s potential and in March 2001, the French-owned company takes over the Aarhus based company.
Three years later in 2004, Valtech change strategy and become a dedicated IT consultancy company. In that context IQS is sold to the Danish Valtech director, Jens Heimburger, who runs the business until 2006.
In September 2006, after some turbulent years with various owners and strategies, the current director and owner, Brian Rosenberg, joins the company to get it back on track and return it to its core competencies.
The departments in Aarhus and Oslo are closed down and staff and loss-making clients are rationalized. After only 6 months at the helm, Brian Rosenberg becomes the majority shareholder in the company and after a further 6 months, he takes over full ownership of IQS.
The company creates a leading position for itself in Scandinavia when it comes to mystery shopping and customer surveys, and moves from Kanonbådsvej on Amager to larger premises in Herlev, and in the middle of October 2008, IQS is renamed Servicemind.
In 2009, Servicemind merges with Aarhus-based Teleconsult and Testshopping, now Telemind, and together they form the superstructure House of Minds. Today, Servicemind and Telemind combined have 14 full and part-time employees, who are based at the companies’ offices in Herlev and Aarhus.
Servicemind’s database contains more than 10,000 mystery shoppers worldwide and the company has access to more than one million mystery shoppers worldwide through its membership of the interest organization for the world's leading mystery shopping providers, MSPA (Mystery Shopping Providers Association).
